Objectives

This project will provide a public db4o repository for simplifying the usage of db4o inside maven based projects. The different stages of the maven support could be:

1. Provide a db4o public maven repository with SNAPSHOT versions, development versions and production versions for Java 5 and Java 4. The artitefacts will be automatically deployed to the repository using the ant tasks for maven and ssh/scp tasks.
2. Provide all these versions on the central repository
3. Provide db4o maven archetypes for quickly getting started a new project
4. If there are found any advantages to this approach, add maven build files for building db4o.
5. Provide a maven plugin for transparent activation
